so..we put my only cat,cassie,down the other day,i am just now able to start talking about it...it's a very strange feeling to lose a loved one.it's like i've lost my only child.i've had her all 14 years of her life.i just don't want her to be forgotten... ...on the upside,my boyfriend got me a puppy,Gilbert,a week ago today.hopefully cassie's spirit will live on in Gilbert.he's just now noticing that she's gone.it's sad.i made her a headstone today,and he won't stop licking it,and her favorite place to lay down,by the fireplace,he keeps staring at...which tells me she's still here..i wish i could've said good-bye,and i wish i could hug her one last time...
